All-terrain stroller that is lightweight, durable and offers great maneuverability. The compact fold that can be folded with just one hand makes it easy to transport. It also stands on its own when folded. The padded seat reclines to a near-flat position, and there’s an enormous storage bin and canopy. Baby suitability: Yes, with a separate carrycot (not suitable for overnight sleeping). 
 
A good suspension and air-filled tires will help you navigate through rough terrain. You can also use it to jog. However, you must wait until your baby is at least 6 or 9 months old.

In fact, I was able to get the whole thing up and running in just five minutes, which is amazing given that it included attaching the fabric for the carrycot! 
 
 
It has a comfortable wide seat that is comfortable for Annie (who is 12 months) and the recline lever is easy to use. There’s pushchairsandprams of space in the basket, and I love the fact that it has an open-top pocket on the handle bar so that you can keep your keys and phone secure! 
 
The only downside is that the handlebar is quite low, which can be an issue for parents who are taller. It’s covered in a soft, comfortable leather-like material, which is easy to wipe down. 
 
Hauck Pushchair Runner 
 
The Runner is designed for athletic parents who are eager to get outside and explore. Its large pneumatic wheels are designed to be used on field and forest trails, and the front wheel can be rotated and locked to give you more flexibility. The stroller also features 5-point safety harness with a front bar to keep your child safe on every trip. The parking brake keeps the stroller on its feet as you take a break. The seat can be repositioned to lay down and the canopy can be opened to allow maximum air circulation on hot days. The handle can be adjusted by more than 30cm to accommodate mom or dad. 
 
Whether you’re going for an easy jog or a longer hike The Runner is ready to accompany you on your journeys with a reclining, fully-flat seat and suspension air wheels that promise an unhurried ride. The front wheel can be locked to provide more stability on narrow streets and congested sidewalks, and the stroller folds up easily to fit in car boots and storage spaces. 
 
Some parents have found the Runner 2 to be a bit more difficult to maneuver than its predecessor, and the locking system is less user-friendly (requiring two buttons on the opposite side of the push bar). The handlebar is a little higher than other strollers and therefore it may not be suitable for parents with shorter arms but overall, it’s an extremely sturdy and flexible stroller worth a look for families with active children.

Red Kite’s Pace is a top product from the affordable British brand. They are well-known for their well-designed, no-fuss products that are essentials for parents. It’s the most recent – and priciest – addition to their bargain lightweight stroller line. It as with the Ickle Bubba Aurora and Yoyo, is car seat adaptable which means you can use it from the beginning (the carrycot folds away). 
 
The new Pace features some stunning design features, like a rose-gold shade on the hood, chassis and stroller trims, which really set it apart. The grey, tan and cream fabrics used in the stroller as well as the car seat are super stylish and there is an option to add the handle for the cover and bumper bar too. 
 
The stroller seat is used from birth to 22kg. It can easily be converted into a 2-in-1 reversible position, either parent-facing or world-facing. The stroller seat comes with various lie-back positions, softly padded legs rests and an extended sun canopy with hidden zip sections, a viewing see-through flap, and retractable visor. 
 
When folded, the Pace measures up at 56 33 x 43 x 32cm, which is enough to qualify as hand luggage with Easyjet and Ryanair among other carriers. Two buttons on either side are easy use and can be clicked into place.

Created to be the ultimate all-terrain pushchair, Bugaboo’s new Fox 5 promises to do it all. Its unique chassis comes with shorter wheel length which makes it easier to maneuver than its predecessor. I put it to the test alongside my two kids – one a toddler and another eight-week old – across rough terrain, grassy woodland walks and even cobblestones. 
 
The large, puncture-proof wheels – 22cm or 30cm in size are able to handle different terrains. The wheels come with a flap that can be closed or opened to let air in when needed. It’s slightly larger than most pushchairs, yet doesn’t feel heavy or bulky when you push it across bumpy surfaces. 
 
The fabric of the seat is machine washable and the frame and faux leather grips are easy to wipe down. It’s also quieter than many pushchairs and I felt confident using it on busy city streets. A bonus feature is that it incorporates accessory points, meaning you can add footmuffs, parasols, changing bags and even a snack tray. The hood can be used to block out rain and wind, but it’s not waterproof. It’s a single pram, but you can add their Comfort Wheeled Board (not included) to give your child more leg room. The bassinet took 20 minutes to set up and the same amount of time to transform it into an actual seat.
