Baby Jogger City Select Stroller & City Select Car Seat

The City Select 2 Stroller Eco Collection is a versatile stroller that converts from a single to a double stroller with the addition of an additional seat or glider board (sold separately). It can also be configured to become a triple travel system by adding a bench seat or infant car seat. In all, it offers 24 options and is a top stroller overall. This model utilizes Baby Jogger’s comfortable, breathable TENCEL fabric that aids in thermal regulation and are sourced sustainably. It comes with a leatherette handlebar, bumper bar and belly bar. It is 20percent smaller and lighter than the top single-to-double stroller, the UPPAbaby V2.

It comes with a sunshade of medium size and a handy magnetic peek-a-boo window that is easy to open and close. The telescoping bar is one of the most easily adjustable and is suitable for parents of all heights. The seats recline and have an adjustment button for the footwell to allow you to position your child to ensure maximum comfort. The storage bin is spacious with plenty of space, however we would have preferred a more secure latch. It’s easy to access, but we discovered the zippers to be somewhat frustrating as they must be removed completely and reattached every time you use it.

The City Select, like its counterparts, has single-action brakes that are simple to install and release by pulling a lever located on the frame’s side, lower than the handlebar. It is comfortable for sandals and barefoot and an improvement over the clunky brake levers some competitors use.

This is the only stroller in our review that can accept two infant car seats which makes it a great alternative for twins, or for parents with just one child and a baby due. It can fit most infant car seats from major brands with an adapter. We tested it using Britax/BOB Chicco KeyFit 30, Graco Click Connect models, Cybex Aton and Aton Q, and Nuna Pipa.

The City Select is incompatible with the UPPAbaby Vista V2. It is a great option for families with a car seat and want a stroller that can accommodate it however, you might prefer a convertible stroller that can fit an additional car seat for infants in this instance.
